In 1974, John Rich left the Lakes Regions of New Hampshire for the Pacific Northwest. It proved a fruitful move, for he has been conceiving musical images on the piano ever since. In these compositions, he portrays the peace and reflectiveness from years of visits to the coastal areas of Oregon and Washington.
